Okay there's no ****ing way you thought about all of those key doors and how they interact. That map is either gonna play terribly at first or you got really ****ing lucky

i know what you mean but the layout makes more sense with them. i was going to scrap the map until i realized a key would literally solve a lot of problems i had with it. yeah who knows man, all i wanted was for the key guy to seem really fast and he can literally skip a whole room to catch up to the other player. my map is just 4 rooms so i dont see why it would be so hard to implement.

EDIT: i put thought into each and every one and thought of lots of scenarios. I am not happy with one part in particular and I want to see how it plays before I decide to make a change

Well it's easy to think of each one by itself, but thinking of all of the ways that the key guy can chain doors vs. non key guys options is the hardest thing I've done in ever. My map is going to have probably a total of 5 key interactions and it's taken me weeks to just think of encounters that have any chance of working at all

maybe you're just a god and I suck i dont know but you wanted me to roast you and you replied like it was normal feedback and not a roast so while we're at it...

I think map is small and segmented enough that whichever team happens to be near key when it spawns will just get it for free and get away suuuuper easily because there are so many doors. I'd watch out for that.

Yeah man there is a lot of factors for sure its a learning process. Im not claiming its gonna play amazing. And yes its an old layout but i thought it would fit rather well opposed to something like box ce or my other 2v2 map. My goal for very map is to be able to run around and do whatever I want lol.

My feedback for you since I never got to tell you is I think that roof above the key door in the back (the reddish color) should be playable. Perhaps lowered a little bit to get some sightlines in the middle? But it would feel really good to be up there shooting drop down and cycle back.

I haven't seen all your doors so I cant give you more but yeah I forgot to mention the possibility above ^

That roof being playable was the plan... but that map is basically scrapped. While that could've turned out as a decent map, Multi pointed out that the really cool Key engagements that I originally wanted were watered down at best, and I would regret not doing better. I'm starting a new, more compact, vertical, and experimental version today.
