NOKYARD submitted a new map: Cirriform Veil - A 'moving' extermination map set in the skies. Read more about this map...
That's good, not at all a fan of competitive gaming but this map looks like it could be a blast with some friends.
Honestly, I was planning to do a remake of that part of the game for another project haha but you got it first and looks very nice!! Just one question... does it really move? how did you manage the messed movement-physics?? haha
I have used several elements to give it the appearance of moving. Fog & patchy Cloud movement, Motes, Wind Direction, gigantic conveyor sheaves, and Intro Cinematic all combine to provide a sense of movement. Some players see it, some do not. These do not move in Forge mode so you must view in a Custom Game to see the effect.
Nice! I love the smell of Halo 2 PTSD in the morning. Just kidding, it's the Regret ones that I'm most afraid of.
I don't have any. There may be some from the judges. The floating rings are a bit broken now and will be fixed in a few days.
I do indeed . Since I have approximately 220 custom maps bookmarked, and at one point I had over 420+ maps (I've done some purging), I therefore really want to get a good sense of the map before deciding to add it to my bookmarks for trying out or for keeping permanently because in all honesty it can be a bit burdensome to find what I'm looking for sometimes; especially, when Halo's servers get screwy.
