Tangerine Mount FTW! This map was a joy to test and even more fun to play. It went unnoticed for awhile but finally its gotten its time in the sun. Congrats Ivory on becoming Premium if anyone else deserved it's you.
Ivory I love you lol.But I remember when you first showed me tyhe map with like a little piece of the floor done.I'm so special now because I saw a featured map from the begining.Premium makes you look sexier.
rofloflofl, this is none of my personal business, but these three...meh...you get the picture...also tropical, your signature is gargantuan...try to decrease that ever so slightly...
Looks like an interesting map... The small hills and cliffs give the map its originality, and it seems like the actual gameplay is good too. I'll gladly DL and add to this post after looking around in Forge. EDIT: WOW it took me a long time to reply to this... Anyway, you were right - this map is very small. I personally don't like the small maps, but this feels really big because it is open. Overall, the map is great. When I popped into Monitor and flew out of the map, I was half-overwhelmed with giggles and awe. Why? The placement of the many objects that needed to be put somewhere else for the Infinite Budget glitch. They're all outside the windows, and pressed up against the windows as if they are under a 10-ton press. Don't ask me why I wanted to laugh, I just wanted to. Period. Anywho, back on topic - the map is very well built with close-to-seamless interlocking. Great job on this, and congrats on the upgrade to Premium status.
this does not deserve to be featured man itz too small and looks like u just merged everything randomly and ended up with those results.
OK, I'll give you a good reason. They have average overall gameplay at first, and it only gets worse from there. Gameplay gets intensely boring after a while and often it's just a wait until it finishes. Sorry but there's my opinion.
Now I'm not saying that you're wrong, because everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but Linubidix, there was no point to that post, if someone has said exactly what you were going to say why just repeat it with a little line of input? GWS, don't worry, we cool bro, i remember the games we played and they weren't up ti the standard of gameplay that this map has achieved in other games on it, and for that i am sorry.
I hear what your saying, I'll delete that post, but this is just me but I feel that some people on forgehub, make maps mainly to look good, they feel that if it is made good it must automatically play good. Not saying that this map sucks or anything, I dont enjoy myself when playing these style of maps. Others may, and I have nothing against that. But I feel a lot of competetive maps that are being made seem to be focused on looks rather than gameplay.
dude, how can it be focused on looks with all the crap in the centre? if i wanted aesthetics i would've deleted that and done some pointless uber 1337 interlocking, but i decided to focus on gameplay so i put all the random stuff in. i do think about my masp, even if it doesn't really look like it to most people, which makes me
I have nothing against you or how you make maps. It does look like a fair bit of it was thought out but these hilly type maps generally dont offer the best gameplay, and random stuff doesnt sound very thought out.
it does in my head! lol, i know what you mean, but what i meant to say is that those random objects are actually strategically placed pieces of cover that provide safer spawning... if you ask Vicious Vice and Chipsinabox they'll tell you how much effort was put into the spawning.
