I Just wish the PC version had more people for the customs browser. I wish the Xbox version ran scripts as smoothly and had the same color picker as the PC version though, sometimes its a bit disappointing to see a script run like butter on PC and come to Xbox and look like a slideshow.
PC only, as I have vowed never to purchase another xbox or console for that matter... loving it, except for the many crashes! I also do customs most nights, and there is becoming a decent sized group of people to run with. There are a wide range of skills out there too, including some high-tier players.
what sucks on the PC side (among other things) is that if someone has a very slow PC, the entire group needs to wait for them to load the map before starting. That could mean sitting there on a black screen for a minute or more! Afterwards, I usually type, "Wow, someone's PC is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW"
I don't think my laptop can run H5 forge. And I would probably struggle a lot with the controls because I hardly use computers.
most customs players use a wired 360 controller or similar. I don't think many stick with the KBM for long
Well the chief reason I posted the poll/thread was because I may be purchasing a new desktop, and my next thread would be what should I look for and what should I avoid with regard to hardware? I wanted to get a sense of who actually uses PC forge. But it strikes me as odd that the total number of people responding to the poll thus far is less than 20. Does that mean that in all of ForgeHub, there are less than 20 members that do any forging still?
Obviously not ^ this site isn't really active other than waywo. Also KBM sucks on PC bc of input lag + controller's aim assist dominates.
Dude your last question, seriously? Just because they don't use your poll doesn't mean they don't forge. Not all users browse these forums, let alone reply to topics Just scroll the map pages, you see tons of names that stay clear of the forums.
I don't want to go through the effort of dual booting for a single game that I can already play without installing spyware.
How many of you that use PC Forge have dual monitor systems? If anyone, what kinds of video cards do you have to support those monitors and also support PC Forge?
If your graphics card has more than one connection on the back, you can dual-monitor. That's all there is to it.
