Oooh, bold claim. Sentinel? Omni? That one assym MLG foundry map that started with an H? There was some good stuff but I'd definitely put Aerocrest up there.
I'm having trouble with the design of the pistol in my game. Currently I'm looking at a .45 competition/race pistol look without the holographic optic. What do you think would match these early production models of weapons to be added in game?:
http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/WeedCough/video/29781986 My new BTB, it's a remake/re-imagination of Unearthed from Reach (the DLC firefight map), with changes made to adjust to PvP. It's now a tree farm in the middle of the desert. Space marines need firewood/Christmas trees too y'know! It's almost done. It's pretty detailed and beautiful in a way, which is slightly uncommon for a BTB map, yet the performance is still really great. It really harkens back to the Reach map/art style. Just making a few more tweaks to get it running 100% smoothly, then spawns, weapons and vehicles. I'm thinking of going with two hogs and a wasp.
I've done a block out of Worthy, and have the best man for the job doing art. I've also gotten a block out of Grit done, but I'm still making tweaks to the design. After that, this should be my first map I make that isn't carried over from Murder Miners. I'm still working on it, but I made good progress on it that alleviated most issues today. I'll admit, this one's a bit hard to read from top down.
This map would be sick if we were Yoshis Pretty cool inverse layout. Reminds me of an old school quake map that becomes really popular in the custom community and nobody knows why.
