FPS matters. Why do you think I exclusively play PC now? Consistent 120 fps is ungodly smooth and like ecstasy. Also, on a more personal note: a new weapon design!
I mean, him ignoring people is about the same as him ignoring completion of a map. It's basically his whole shtick.
If I ever become wealthy I'm going to create a FPS for console that is based solely off user created content. All Dev maps shipped with the game would be made with the same tools the community is given access to. It blows my mind that something of this nature doesn't exist already. I mean look at how popular Minecraft is. Why has this business model not been adopted for a AAA shooter?
Reminds me of this one indie game that was really popular during Halo 4. The name escapes me, but Xamplez used to play it all the time. @xzamplez It was decent, too. The problem was the nobody played it.
Murder Miners. It had its problems, but it was kinda fun, the devs didn't really know what they were doing though.
Project Spark was a game creation tool. That's not the approach I'd take with mine. It would be an already pre built FPS that would focus on user created maps and game modes within an already soild game. Murder Miners was mildly popular for how rudimentary it was, so it shows something like this has promise. What if Microsoft spent 3 to 4 years developing a game called Halo:Forge. A Strictly MM Halo. Instead of other Halos that invest so much resource and time into campaign, the ENTIRE Dev cycles resources could poured into making the most robust forge and MM seen to date. I'd likely wager something of this sort would be wildly popular. I'm never going to be wealthy however so will never know haha
Popular and nearly 100% self sufficient. Look at halo 5, maybe people played the campaign once but no one has touched it since and despite the content drops every month, no one is excited to play more matchmaking. The only thing keeping this game alive is forge... So why not?
