Progress so far, I still have to add other pathways between the upper and lower though somehow. It's an interesting contest, but half of the kids on Waypoint didn't make their maps visible..... smh
ahaha, get wrecked 343. Hopefully this will clue them in that the current way search visibility is being handled isn't very intuitive. Anyway, I don't know much about this contest, but your map is looking pretty cool.
Ahaha, seagull and a group of friends just beat the entirety of rogue in a ranked game. They're all pro or close to it, but it's insane that they beat a full team, especially rogue.
They just put out an update that made Bastion wayyyyy too good. Plus they nerfed one of his best counters. He's apparently the only viable strategy right now. Yeah just watched the first round of that video. That's absolutely retarded.
I'm surprised a website pretty much dedicated to FPS map design would even care about a shooter where nearly every map suits its gameplay so poorly.
You know hero shooters are too saturated in the market and mindshare when RAINBOW FREAKING SIX turns into one. Le sigh.
Last night a bastion I was against healed through a pulse bomb followed by a dragon blade and dash and then some. I threw up. Played him the next round because I was so upset. He's brokeded. I really enjoy all the maps in overwatch, not sure I agree with it's maps don't suit it's gameplay. The only bad thing imo is how close defending spawns are in on the second point of 2CP maps. They're working on that by delaying spawns when the defenders are stalling but that's just putting ducktape over the problem. Edit: also the second gate on Eichenwald stays broken down now so the defenders can't hold you on the door with the two really long choke points, so that's good
Yeah, his new-found survivability is ridiculous. I played a match yesterday with a Torb, a Symmetra, and a Bastion. It was the most frustrating experience I've ever had in this game.
Here's what I've been working on: My grandmother is giving me my childhood house. My mom passed away about 5 years ago or so and it was in my grandmothers name. She never really got along with my dad and now he has moved across the state so she gave me the house. So I am selling my current house and using the funds to add on to the new house. We have to replace the entire roof so we are updating and adding to the floor plan. Old layout: New plan: Gonna be about $50,000. Payoff on my current mortgage is $69,000 on a smaller house. In the current market my house will sell for roughly $115,000 - $130,000. So we can sell it and move into a bigger, updated house and have 50k of debt instead of the 69k I have now. With all the equity I get (45k - 60k minus realtors fees) I can either put into the new loan or pocket it for savings and pay out the new loan over time which will still be less than my current motgage. Works out sweet. PS: I <3 MS Paint.
I think I'm most impressed with the MS paint layout. That's some pretty meticulous work. I'd probably shoot myself first.
