Ive decided I am going to make 26 blockouts. I will go from A-Z and come up with a name for each. This is my long term forge goal.

My dear Goat, @Lost Pinecone earned that honor a long time ago. Not surprised. That's all these lists ever become. Call me salty, but you say "best original map forgers". You of course are implying just core forgers? Save for those that remake maps from older halo games, literally everyone that forges creates original maps. It's a real shame many of you so called "top tier forgers" don't appreciate the other arts of creating mini games, puzzle maps, infection, grifball, or race. I have a feeling many of you core forgers don't even appreciate the art of scripting, which in of itself takes as much skill if not more to figure out compared to coming up with map design and get to work despite the hellish 343 bugs that we have to fight. That's fine though. First of all, the thread mentions 16 player FFA and asks for the best Forgers in Halo 5. That would very obviously imply core Forgers, of which I posted my opinion based on the quality of the work I have seen. I don't play Puzzle, Race, Infection or Grifball, nor do I think they demonstrate the greatest breadth of Forge ability because they are niche gametypes. Are there people who are good at those things? Absolutely, but that's like saying I didn't list all the local indie performances when you asked me what the best rock concert of the 80s was. Furthermore, I don't think being able to Forge makes you "the best" at it, otherwise you may as well just list every active member on this website. There are plenty of Forgers who know how to use the editor, but I cannot just list everyone I know when you ask me who has or can put out the best work. If we were showcasing everyone, that would be a different story.

When I say "influence" I really mean help. I don't think storm peaks OR cobalt would be any good without the help of multiple other forgers, but like multi says, it's not that big of a deal. I just know that the "top tier" forgers could make something good without that help. Who knows, though. Maybe I could come back and blow everyone's minds, but the world will never know.
