I'm only worried about it because its a potential mm canadite. I don't care about the map so much as I care about feedback being given that has yet to be supported by gameplay film sans the spawn blocking. I'm just concerned in general we dont have good play testing teams to test these MM canadites. That's really alarming to me.
I don't disagree there. You can't test the potential meta or exploits of a Forge map with Forge kids. My point was simply that the map appears to strongly favor a playstyle that may not necessarily differ between ranks. If that's not the case, then I'll just go back to sucking my own ****.
My secret project map will be a map of non-polarizing variety. The map 100% caters to a certain playstyle as was intended but I need to figure out if that playstyle is broken or to harsh at the highest level of play.
I blame 343 not looking for Doubles maps. That kind of thing always makes people only make those kinds of maps for an amount of time. Also, shame on the Forge community for not making any new competitively-viable gametypes via scripting.
This is true. For my new infection, when I played it with a bunch of randoms in a custom game and it played very chaotically. But when I watched the gameplay film of another match on it played by a forge lobby, it seemed to play much slower and more in-tune with how I wanted the map to perform.
Somewhat unrelated but Its strange to me that Bunige-MLG/343i-HCS has never supported 2v2 Halo as an Esports event. There would be such sick potential for it in a esports environment.
I know that there are some dedicated 2v2 forgers(myself included), but during the 2v2 contest everyone was making 2v2s.
ask me about how i just scrapped a fully playable and arted up map because somebody is going to say it's a donut
