I don't know about that. I'm just happy to have finally finished a map for the first time in over a year. Thank god for @Buddy Jumps. He deserves a ton of credit, and is the only reason this map is done. Without him, this map wouldn't have seen the light of day for a long time (or maybe never).
I'm glad it's out too! I knew the design was gonna be awesome from the very first time you showed me 3/4ths of a block-out. Now you just need to finish the 7 other maps you had blocked out and planned in h2a.
WHO THE **** MOVED MY NEEDLER anyway this is a way better theme than the greek bathhouse you had the first time. Looks straight out of UT
I was going to say '1 at a time', and then I realized I have 5 others that are at various stages of completion (and some of them aren't even total **** ). Three of them are relatively close to release (sometime within the next couple of months). By the end of the year I might have them all done, lol.
Bitches about the needler... Bitches when the needler's gone. Yeah, the original theme left a lot to be desired. Buddy did an awesome job with the art. It's simple, consistent, and believable, which is just what I like.
Seeing those for the first time, I was mind blown for a moment, and then immediately realized how simple of an idea it was. The combination of the colored glass and lights looks spectacular.
I put on Genesis during Brusky's lobby last and everyone thought the aesthetics were killer. I still find the map bit dark but the changes you guys made to lighten up areas helped out a lot. I find the scale to be on the larger side but not uncomfortably. If it were about 10% - 15% smaller I think those engagements would look / feel a bit better. By the way, super fiesta is a blast on here You still designing?
That's interesting. From the all the tests I saw after I re-scaled it initially, it actually seemed to be a bit too small for 4v4 (at least in Strongholds, which was primarily what I tested it on). I suppose it depends upon the gametype.
