Going on record to say 343's sustain team can **** right off for asking us for maps after they screwed the game's framerate up. I guarantee that if 100 maps are vetted for this playlist, 90 of them will be cut because of tiny ass framerate problems. Meanwhile, 343 ships maps like Molten with wallace and gromit frame drops and nobody bats an eye.
My lord this thread got a bit crazy. Peace and love guys. Forge is such a zen thing for me, I don't get how it can cause frustration. I'm just a builder hippie. I think Goat's pretty on the money with the Framerate thing. Unless they're hotfixing the game with a much needed stability improvement, it's going to drastically hinder any map put forward for 4v4. Bit more on topic, I....put some lights down and changed a couple of textures? That's a thing right?
Hopefully ForgeHub runs a 4v4 contest now that 343 is actually looking for those maps. Or you know we can make race maps next.

For the record, jokes don't bother me. Ya'll want to joke about the fact that I hype my **** up and then quit forge a week later and then hype something else up the next, then have at it. Even I find it amusing if not obnoxious at times. That's different from shitposting though and I'm not putting up with that trash.

They did it in H4 and H2A. Who gives a **** if your map makes it into match making at this point. The game is basically dead.
Scripting seems to be a killer of chances as well. You can only have creative scripts in mini games like reaper and wipeout mkay! haha Even the trello board 4v4 list doesn't seem to have scripted landmarks...but I may be overlooking things.
I really don't hang out here enough to comment on Xandrith's willingness to sell his maps. I mean that last one with the tower & stuff was definitely sweet but I couldn't tell you the name of it because I'm so far out of the loop nowadays. I agree nobody should be condescending at all whether they are full of talent or not and I wish I knew who all of these certain people are. But in my opinion it looked like a harmless joke & you blowing it out of proportion. Maybe there is some behind the scenes stuff there I don't know about so I'll step out of that. I kinda thought you were coming at me too but I think I was giving myself too much credit lol. If I do have the talent you guys have it's been tucked away so far back I can't see it anymore & don't have the will to look for it now. Cheer up tho goat, you still have more talent in this than the majority of us here so don't get too upset if you aren't getting the opinions of certain people, you may not need it. Your designs & themes and ideas are far from generic.
I wanted to comment on this earlier like I mentioned. This map was fun to play and could definitely end up being a solid 2-4 player map. Let me know if you're testing it again or doing anything with lighting.
