I'm saying that all the evidence points towards that conclusion. Many of the CC's have fallen off the face of the earth. Others have restricted their reach to a small circle of people. Some of them had begun developing their own infrastructure, but those movements have stalled, discontinued, or the people that started them have disassociated themselves with it. There's been no public action by, comment from, or reference to the group whatsoever in a very long time. All signs point to the likelihood that the primary route into matchmaking for community content is through the submissions on Waypoint. The only logical conclusion I can come to based upon this information is that CC's are no longer a thing, or at least are no longer the primary curators of community content for matchmaking.
Destiny was originally going to be strictly fantasy in a medieval setting. I love the setting and lore of Destiny now, but they passed up a great opportunity by going with a shooter.
So are those in the CC who have accounts here still showing cartographer under their name? And those that moved on, are they resigning from the role officially with 343? Yes? And no? No surprise. So if the group is reactivated then they get to retain their title even though others remained active while they moved on? I thought so. Nothing has changed. The change you perceive is all in your head. My point remains. They will hold on to their role because they love the ego strokes even when they lose interest in forging. In fact it shows their interest in forge isn't forge but their ego. Any way I beat this horse silly. Couldn't care less. And would never use such a group for my game.
I don't care about the Cartographer system/process. I never cared to be involved. I still don't care one way or the other. I have no horse in this imaginary race. I'm just telling you something that's plain for anyone to see. You can take it or leave it. I don't expect anyone to blindly except it. If you really want to know, you could probably just ask one of the CC's and see what they say.
This ledge is 24 feet higher than the ledge i'm standing on and 48 feet away from where i am. It is designed to be a drop down and In every other Halo game, I would not be able to get back up to it (the exception being the jetpack). But in this game, someone decided that I should be able to fly up there because of emurshun and now that distance iS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT It's unclamberable at 32 feet and now people can use the height to headglitch. SMH
You know you could just angle a small invisible block on the lip inwards and it will never be clamberable at any height right?
