@SheapCreaper It has its similarities but this wasn't inspired by any existing Halo map. Some of the design decisions that might seem reminescent is pure coincidence. Nyxium is first and foremost an original. The only inspiration was its atmosphere: the Domain. Myself and many others seem pretty happy with my changes. It'll grow on you after a game or two, or maybe its not for you. Regardless, thanks again for the positive feedback!
It's a brilliant piece of forging! I think you're right that it might not be my play style, but that does nothing to diminish the fact that I can tell a good map when I see one. Do I think the layout's a tad simplistic? Yeah, a bit, but some of the community favorite classics are, and that can be a bonus in its favor when it calls those to mind. I can't say that I've played it enough to judge it completely, but as with Leylines, I'm more than impressed in spite of what I might see as imperfections. Keep up the stellar forging!

THANK YOU to ALL for your incredible support of Nyxium! I will continue to delicately refine and polish it to make it the best it can be. This means a lot to me. Thanks everyone!
This map- and the continued support you give it- continue to impress me. I'll admit, before this most recent update it had become a staple for my custom Super Fiesta games. Now, though, it feels smaller and more suited than ever for Doubles. The low ceilings on the lower levels of Red and Blue sides, an issue I believed to be resolved, have returned. Turning the low point into a pillar connecting floor and ceiling would not only fix this; it would also add some cover to the area and compartmentalize the game play a bit more.
You've used the forerunner pieces to make a very good forge version of 343Runner architecture, and as much as I dislike the artstyle, you did a good job doing what you set out to do (even if I think what you set out to recreate looks ugly AF) Gameplay wise, I felt it was really flat and dull. The top is a basically a flat donut like like Acension but without the towers to add any form of verticality. I think you could learn to do smething much more unique, interesting and with some real depth to it.
@Kell Of Scots I've certainly worked hard with the layout to provide more dynamic play and more cover on the top level of the map. There certainly is variation in heights offering players on the fly opportunities to ground pound, and simply use the spartan abilities we have to our liking. I appreciate your feedback and I understand there is no such thing as a perfect map and that not every map is for everyone.
