Most of the forge maps in matchmaking in Reach. It's as if Bungie was trying to make the forge community look bad by saying this trash was the best we had to offer. Fated's map that was destroyed by 343. Mainly the sniper tower. All stock Halo 4 maps. And I only say stock, because I never bought the DLC.
I wanted to be more descriptive, but I couldn't think of the names. They were the first wave of forge maps in Reach matchmaking, besides the MLG maps. I just remember being excited that we were finally being recognized as competent content creators, only to find that all the maps they pick looked like they was made by brand new forgers. I think one was called Cliffhanger.
OMFG that map name hit me right in the feels, but not the good ones. I remember the first two now, Atom and Cliffhanger! My god those maps were awful lmao.
Actually, that first wave was sourced primarily from a group of guys from a private bnet group, of which are few of them had personal relationships with some Bungie employees... it wasn't Bungie trying to discredit forgers, but simply not realizing what forge was really capable of and preferring to source from "friends". Joeski73 was one of those guys.
Alright, I got a pretty bad idea about what it's gonna look like, thanks for all the hate-felt care put into your comments! I'll be posting a sketch in a couple days here, and should have the block out done by next week. Keep your eyes peeled!
Thanks for the feedback on Antifreeze, honestly. I never wanted anyone to know that I ran ForgeHub for years because I was afraid of preferential treatment. I want to be held accountable for my work the same way everyone else is. This is the first time anyone provided feedback for the map that I can use and I've already begun to make improvements. I've made the map bigger and included new routes in the middle among other significant changes. If you could leave more detailed feedback on my map page, it would be really helpful!
