I've heard people saying that the CE remaster is faithful to the original, because Bungie at that time didn't have the tech to do that. I'm not a violent person, but damn
Edit: I've also heard that the style of Anniversary is more realistic and sci-fi

Not before my "legion" and I "resolute" this "divine fury" with a beating so "spellbound" a modern artist is going to think your disfigured face is "zone art". You won't be able to call for a "backlash" because I'd beat you "fair and square". So "heads up"...

    You wanna clarify?

The CE remaster ISN'T faithful to the original at all. And it was made by 343 not Bungie. And the changes made had nothing to do with hardware limitations.

I've heard people who say that it's faithful. And they also say that this would have been the original Bungie vision if only they had the tech. I don't have this ridiculous opinion, I'd like to slap them on their faces very hard. These people (along the others who defend the new art style) are one of the reasons of the (artistic) downfall of Halo.

Halo 4's soundtrack is criminally underrated, at least as a stand alone work.

True. Not very Halo-esque (except a few tracks) but a great work.

Honestly, I kinda share a similar view. In that, People keep telling me Halo 5's was better, which I disagree with.

How exactly was it better? Do you remember any particular new melody or piece? I sure as **** don't, not really anything other than the over the top intro piece, which I only remember because it sounds so generic and out of a marvel movie. I played it more than the Halo 4 campaign truth be told (not that I played either all that much, completed them on legendary at least).

And even though I think both campaigns suck for various reasons, hard, it was memorable even if nowhere near as good as Marty. I remember alot of the Halo 4 soundtrack, which I think is most important in a soundtrack.

Exactly. Halo 4 had a lot of melodious work - the unique themes and melodies that you can associate with a certain level or emotion - and that's what makes it a stronger score than Halo 5's. I think the highs in Halo 5 are far higher than the ones in Halo 4, but there aren't many of them, and even then most of it is just generic "cinematic" work with a few Halo themes thrown in. It's hardly anything praiseworthy beyond it being composed well.

I definately would not call the Halo 4 soundtrack generic of all things. Simplistic, and not as complex or interesting as Marty/Michaels work, but not really generic. My major criticisms with Halo 4's soundtrack are that it often repeats 4 notes for the majority of the piece. 117 and Arrival being the prime examples. But again, even if simplistic and not very "interesting" for lack of an immediate better term, they are memorable and often original. What can I say sounds like quite like Requiem?

I didn't think Halo 4 sounded very Halo, but neither does Halo 5 more often than not, so I'd rather have memorable and orginal not really Halo music than forgettable generic marvel movie and not really Halo music.

Which is strange since I'm sure the composer who wrote Arrival and 117 (I think) was the main composer of Halo 5, as opposed to the co-composer in 4.

I would not go as far as criminally underrated, but I would say, overly hated, in comparison to other 343 **** ups and the Halo 5 soundtrack
