seems interesting. Im working on a new map with some people that has a cool key method too. I will try to play this and let you know what i think.
Thanks. I'm currently working to fix the map at the moment. I'm adding the spawn method used from others Survive maps. If i have time, i would like to remake the elevator, because it's too messy when you play with others. I will update this site with the link. The name should be "Survive The Court 0.9".
Thank you for all the players who is helping me to give me feedback (indirectly playing). I noticed they had fun and i'm glad of this. But, but... Now as now i've found some bugs: - Some objects spawn only for the first turn. What about the other 7? - These objects are fundamental, for example, the time limit in Archieve room, and the wall that covers the unused room. I tried many, many times to fix this, but it doesn't work. - Objectives are ok...But not too much. The players was able to find *only* 2/4 of the rooms, and this isn't much. - I noticed sometimes the elevator goes too down, and the doors doesn't close ok. Of course, i'm going to fix this with 0.9.1. I have to decide what to do with the wall for the unused room. My idea is to make this wall...a door. No joke. The wall is scripted in way that, if they shoot in this wall, then it disappears (to not say pretending to explode). But if this doesn't work, then i can use a regular door. I think it could work. In short, what i have to fix is: - The wall in unused room: Change it with a door. This door will open after pressing the button in archieve room (which means this button will open the door for the stairs AND the door for the unused room. In any cases, the survivors cannot go to the stairs if they don't pass to the unused room first. So this can be ok at least. - Fix this damn time limit and the death area in archieve room. - Possibly find another way to send objectives in map. I want to check Survive The City in way to know how to do this (but i heard it's hard...) - Change the two doors of the elevator with just one door. See you later.
objective markers are really simple. theyre called nav markers. Example here, add a script to an object you want a nav marker on. now your going to need a trigger, such as when message recieved, when boundary check, etc. (Ive had trouble with the When round start trigger so id avoid that one). Ok So when message recieved, use nav marker change in your action script. Now the important part. click on the PLAYERS menu, you want to change it from "this" to "players (add)" so that all players will see the nav marker. you dont need to change TARGETS. The target is THIS object you are scripting on. Now all you have to do is choose the word you want. and remember to remove the nav marker in a separate script on the same object after it is no longer needed.

Why not, are there limits? I'm still updating, everyday, until it's fully playable. (Also my time is pretty strict because i've suspended my main project at the moment so i need to act fast.)
eh, just seems unfair to new maps, constantly forcing them down the page. Why not wait till the map is 100 before uploading. That way it prevents spam and you don't have to upload a broken map.
It's fine man, just make them really important ones or you're gonna give off the wrong impression which I know isn't your intention.
