The only issue I have if your in an banshee and you hit the boost its real blurry. But only on the banshee ok with all other vehicles. No problems with spawning. ( at least for me no issues )
is this for PC forge, then? I really need 120fps mod too! (the one I found on web using cheatengine does not seem to work for me.)
Yes, it's for PC. I saw an fps mod, but I think it's the same one you already tried. @AlexVan123 There's zero chance of getting banned for this.
thanks. on related note, does anyone know how to get this application to be recognized by rivastatisticstuner within MSI afterburner? Because it doesn't go to fullscreen mode, it doesn't detect it, and because ms apps don't have a specific .exe that I can find, it is hard to manually add it. I am also interested in a good way to record video from Forge PC... shadowplay and MSI Afterburner don't seem to work for this either.
Anyone able to record videos with forge pc? As mentioned above, msi afterburner and nvidia shadow play both dont recognize this game. I want to record videos, but need a solution that will simply record everything on your screen. any ideas?
Try Open Broadcast Software (OBS) and when setting it up to record use the Display capture option. NOT window or game capture.
I can confirm that this mod works for both for and fps! Playing last night with 144fps was a real treat! I still need to figure out what for to use though... I sit about 18in from a 27in screen...
Followup . .. the fps part of this mod screws with timing of movement, and so the game inserts pauses which are very not smooth. suggest sticking with 60fps until 343i applies a real option for 60+ gaming.. here's to hoping.
FYI... since this latest update, it no longer seems to work. Does anyone know if there is a working version?
can someone please comment on this article, and its authenticity? It really is hard to play at times unless you sit very far from the screen, which PC users do not like to do... http://www.dsogaming.com/news/halo-...adds-custom-game-browser-incoming-fov-slider/ It states that, "Last but not least, 343 Industries has revealed that a FOV slider was meant to be included in this update. As such, we can expect this FOV slider to be made available in a hotfix or in the next update." Citing Tom French's tweet re: FOV slider, "It was on the list. I will have to see what happened there. I was so busy w/ modes/scripting I lost focus on PC stuff."
Hey all you PC Forge users out there... This has apparently existed for many months but has not been brought to my attention until I just stumbled upon it last night. Exuberant is an amazing mod that allows you to change many things in Halo 5 PC FOrge. As far as I can tell, all the "online" stuff works since I tested this last night. Only annoying thing is that you do need to change your FOV every time you play, still. But that's a limitation in how the game works I think. The only thing that I believe could be considered an exploit is that you can go to 3rd person, and many extreme settings for 3rd person view in a multiplayer match. That could give advantages in some gametypes. I will not be using this in a custom games to gain advantage over anyone, in case you care However, it should help make some pretty awesome videos!
If anyone has tried to use this in Forge, there is a bug but I have figured out how to get around it... If you have the FOV changed or maybe just by having Exuberant opened on your PC, you will have a really hard time placing new pieces or duplicating pieces. It's like you place the piece, but it doesn't appear. It just isn't able to figure out where you are trying to place it, so it bails on you. Workaround: Take an existing piece already placed and duplicate it directly next to itself, using the normal snap duplication that forge lets us do on both systems. Then, as soon as you have duplicated one piece, move it, delete it (assuming you didn't actually need it) and then most likely, you'll have much better success for the rest of your forging session. For me, and many others on PC, the FOV sitting close like most PC users do, makes you sick. Enjoy!
