So, currently messing with the Scripting to figure out how to make the Said Modes above, and more. Once I figure out how to make it I'll post a link to the Mode, and Prefab (if need be). And a Tutorial here, if someone else finds out how, I'll put the link to their Mode and Prefab, with their Gamertag/ForgeHub Profile as Credit. What I'm currently working on (if possible); 1-Bomb 1-Flag Invasion (plus prefab objectives so people can swap objectives in forge to fit their map) BTB Warzone (teritories as bases, if all captured, grab a bomb to assault the main base) VIP, and VIP Escort Juggernaught Stockpile Headhunter Core (mod from H4) Left 4 Dead, aka Liniar Infection Hostage (Mod From H4)
From what I can tell, both Wyvern and I have 2 separate working Invasion setups already and someone is well on their way to VIP. I heard Nokyard was working on either 1-Bomb or 1-Flag (And good luck to him since the new objects don't respect teams), and I heard someone else was working on Headhunter, but I forget who. Just figured I'd give you a heads up so you don't have to duplicate efforts. I'd be happy to share any findings I've come across just in case there's anything specific that gets in your way that anyone I've been working with has solved. I also have a working destructible core design from before the update that I'm going to be working on bringing forward tomorrow sometime if you'd like to get in on that session.
Absolutely man, I'd be glad to, and I know about invasion prior to the update (I have built my own as a prefab) but I wanna take advantage of the new Scripting and mini games mode so then it can be more like the old Invasion, ya know? And I don't intend to remake someone else's projects (I got 1 bomb working prior with spawns switching every round. But again, wanna take control of the new scripts. Any and all heads up, I'all absolutely wanna hear if anything pops up. The form post's main goal is to bring back old, and see new modes, and the prefabs needed for said modes, so people could use this as a reference, ya know?
I have a general idea how linear infection could work with the scripting. It's fairly simple with the "Round end" script. Just put a player boundary in the ending safehouse and then put a wait time limit until the round end action occurs.
That's what I was thinking. But can you use the mini game stuff in other modes? If I can, it's not gonna be annoying af for making modes
It's looking like you can't use the script brain boundaries for strongholds, nor cap the flag or ball objects without scripting.
