Pretty straight forward. Select the education level that best reflects your education. Only select degrees if you've finished them or are in the last semester before graduating.

    Thanks.

I wouldn't even know how to spell college if it wasn't in the poll. I dropped out in my third year.

Not sure the total point of this thread but I'd just like to say a few things.

    1. I don't believe that if you go to college you're intelligent. In my opinion there's a difference between being intelligent and being educated.

    2. Getting through college does not require intelligence, just work ethic.

    3. I can't stand when people say that Trump supporters are dumbasses because a high percent of them don't have degrees. Everything I learned in college I could have taught myself via the public library or internet. I don't think I'm above anyone because I chose to put myself $20,000 in debt.

Getting through college doesn't prove anything other than you're able to cram and dump and do the bare minimum amount of work (which isn't much) required. You get about as much out of it as you put into it. There are plenty of intelligent people that don't have degrees, and plenty of dumb asses with degrees. All the same, there are certain traits or capabilities that a person that went through college is more likely to have than a person that didn't.

The point of the thread is nothing more than entertaining my curiosity.

I home school myself. I mostly stay in my lane, focusing on theology, philosphy, and science. I like philosophy because it's like the foundation of the thought and reasoning process. Some people don't understand there are rules to conform to when reasoning just like there is math.

I mostly agree with the above. If you have time, patience and money, go to school. But not required to be intellectualy fulfilled.

And on a side note, professors are sometimes known to be just as biased and fact twisting as any free online lectures you can find online. The key is THINK FOR YOURSELF AND CONFORM TO THE LAWS OF LOGIC. Besides that there is your local library.

The real art to education is life experience. Only with the love and support of your fellow peers may you venture forward on this crazy academic space that we call life. Only in times of- uh... yeah, I marked some college too

Personally, I'm not a fan of going to college straight after highschool. I think gap years should be encouraged. Jump straight into college after school and you risk burning out, not to mention you're still young, inexperienced, and much more impressionable. An open mind is important, but not one that'll absorb everything without question.
