Any advice on a Reach-style shield door design?

It's my first time getting back into forge in a really long time and so much has changed and been added.

To my surprise I found out that some of the Blockers will only block bullets and grenades and not spartans. These would work perfectly for the shield doors I need for my Anchor 9 remake on the outer space deck part. All I really need to do is shine some kind of light through them or something to make them look like the shield doors in Reach.

Does anyone know of any ideas or tricks that may have evolved in my absence that could make these shield doors look nice and convincing? My forge skills are rusty.

PS: Do we have anything like trait zones yet? I need those for the low-grav part of my map. The existing grav volumes we have now won't work.

Grav volumes work, you probably aren't using them right. Also you probably placed a projectile blocker.
I created a version of the reach door that isn't perfect, but does the job.
    1. You place a shield. (found in the gameplay section.) Two way if only one team should be able to breach it, one way if both teams can.
    2. You then script that shield:
    [On Destroyed/Despawn]
    [Spawn]
This allows it to somewhat be "invincible", spawning in right after it is destroyed.
    3. Then you place a Projectile blocked the size of the shield, within the shield. This should make it bullet proof.
    4. Now if you want this shield door to be traversed by both teams, you skip this step:
You place a one way invis blocker, the same size as the Projectile blocker. And set the blocker to the corresponding team you want to be able to go through it.
    5. You place a combination of invis bouncers/slides facing the direction you want to pull players. These are found in the grav modifier section.
    6. Enjoy nostalgia.

Thanks, I test that out for the shield doors.

The gravity volumes will never work the way they are though for many reasons I've discovered through extensive testing. The main reason being that I can't set the gravity percentage or the jump height like I could with a trait zone. Also, stacking grav volumes together create a glitch that make players float or fall to the ground at normal speed.

You have a lot to learn about this forge lol. Yeah, the grav volumes create a set gravity inside.
    Grav volumes =/= Trait zones
We do not have trait zones, yet.

I think you missed what I was trying to say about gravity volumes. I would have to show you in game why they don't work for what I'm trying to do, because I need jump set to 80% and gravity at 20%. If I can't get exactly that then I'm scrapping the gravity idea completely until we get trait zones.

The shield door thing is a nice idea, so thanks for that.

For an idea on what I'm trying to do with my map, (been trying to do since January) and if you have MCC, you can download my first Anchor 9 remake in H2A that I made 2 years ago. Different forge I know, but everything worked and I'd like to replicate that in H5.
