If you're playing Halo in 2016 and have any interest in a classic playlist, you should sell your Xbox, quit video games and find a different way to waste time waiting for things that will never happen. Like Avatar 2 or Half-Life 3.
I still browse the map section every day, and It makes me irrationally sad. Not because of the maps, but because I feel terrible for the people who still love Halo and try to do their part.
Just in case this is a serious question, it's just a weird commendation thing. I can't remember the actual numbers of games you have to win or whatever, but for like the first 10 games you win you get absurd numbers of gold and silver packs. After that it tapers off. This was the case even when it was first released.
-upcoming projects Installation 12 -design concepts and philosophy Forerunner / Flood Map inspired by Halo Combat Evolved Mission 343 Guilty Spark -testing sessions for your current map(s) Need some if possible would be apreciated
Didn't you just stop forging like two months ago though? For all we know those people have their small group of friends still playing their maps. I know the consensus is that H5 is **** but there are still people who enjoy a dead game. I played H3 everyday for years after it died. --- Double Post Merged, Nov 15, 2016 --- For about 2 years after H3 died I played everyday. I had two Xboxs at home. My family would set up two tvs and we would play 2v2 mlg slayer on the Pit. This lasted everyday for 2 years lol. It was my mother and I against my father and younger brother. **** got heated and it was the most fun I've ever had on a video game. This was when it wasn't cool to play H3 anymore. I would still forge a lot even though I knew no one would play my map just because I loved forging. My point is it doesn't matter if the majority of a gaming community hates that game or if the game has less than 10,000 population and is dead. People will play what they enjoy and I don't pity anyone for that.
By the way, Halo Reach stats are not being updated anymore. They disabled the live player count, too. It could be (I mean, it's 343, right?) their last strategy to gain players from Reach for Halo 5... Pretty bad timing, since Reach is working better than ever.
Even if the game is dead, forging at least engages the mind in the same way most mediums of art engage the mind. Its a great tool for expressing creativity and helping those centers of the brain grow. Meanwhile your brain is rotting on World of Warcraft. Now THAT is depressing and pathetic.
Competitive gaming is much more engaging than forge my friend. Who is this new mean salty and what did you do with the real salty?
When it comes to helping develop the same cognitive abilities as the arts, forging meets or exceeds most mediums while "competive gaming" falls extremely short. Sculpting, painting, drawing, computer aided graphic desgin, etc etc... Forging is right up there with these arts but also serves another functional layer many of the arts listed above don't. WOW on the other hand? Yea.... Just no. Ive always been this way xandrith haha after quitting forge 3 months ago you continue to return and post **** that makes my eyes roll. We get it, you don't like Halo 5 or forge.
Is there any brain activity? Is there any FUN in Halo 5? /me goes back to farming Rubedite ore in Elder Scrolls Online
