Anybody know how to fix this issue? It's driving me nuts!! I have a playable version of a remake of Vortex, just fleshing out aesthetics, and I'm having this major lighting issue that is drive me nuts. It doesn't matter if I turn light bake on or off, I get this all over the map It's like, WRECKING it!! All the pieces are supposed to be the same: they're all the same color, material, metallic. It actually looks GREAT just the way it is when I load up the map, before light baking. I hate, Hate HATE what happens after I do. Been all over the net this morning trying to problem solve it, so anything you can reference me to would be appreciated. Edit: Cross posting this at a couple sites...
I put an invisible light in the vicinity set to 0.1 or 0.2 brightness. Seems to fix my issues, anyway. also, JiP windmill.
Thanks, yeah I heard that today and am worried about it causing framerate issues because I need so many lights, but I did it and it's looking ok. So far... Haven't tested yet tho.
I have 250 lights on Oblivion and no frame rate drops. Everything can be fixed in forge if you have the know how. Just restrict how many of your lights overlap.
Then help me with Genesis. ^^ It's gonna be pretty difficult to fix it and at the same time keep that level of lighting, though.
That's a nice idea. But there are more instruments on this map and I have some more to make. I will take a look someday.
I'll go off topic for once. After they fixed Reach on One, I recorded all my clips and then I made a montage. Reach was not exactly the best Halo game gameplay wise, however it's the last true Halo game and the video proves it, every frame and every sound scream Halo. So the title. Hope you enjoy!
The physics engine in past halo games, and the movement systems, and the vehicles, all played an amazing role in the chaotic moments. Try flipping a warthog .. no, try flipping a mongoose with a grenade in H5. Good luck, you're gonna need it.
I just found some amazing gameplay from MintBlitz that's worth watching. This guy doesn't die and is getting montage worthy clips on Antifreeze...twice. As if one perfection wasn't enough for him.
