I'm just noting that tailoring your pants is as equally important as tailoring your shirts. It's the same thing, making them fit correctly, if you don't find them comfortable, thats another thing, but obviously anything mass produced is going to fit everyone relatively differently. People only assume there are 2 options loose as hell around the bottom, or children size husky pants you need to grease yourself into. Ideally, you want to be able to pull on the fabric at any point on your leg and have it come away an inch or 2, not 8.
Mine are rather snug... Anyhow, I'm all about having my clothing tailored, but this is ****ing jeans we're talking about here bruh. Jeans. It's the one pair of pants I'm not gonna fuss over, where I know I can grab a 33x32 Straight Cut Levis off the rack and know it'll fit comfortably. Jeans are supposed to be a relaxed fit.
Haven't been on Forgehub in a few days. Imagine my surprise when I realized the discussion going on today is pants. I'm not disappointed. P.S. It's all about comfort. Jogging pants/basketball shorts all day everyday.
I'll never give in to skinny, or even slim. In elementary & middle school I wore JNCO's & to this day I have worn baggy, loose fit jeans. I just feel so gay in tight pants and I can't think about anything else if I'm wearing them. Ya bunch of homos.
Well yeah, but ideally if they are slim and how I described, then they are comfortable... they're not too tight to where bending your leg causes irritation. But to each his own I guess. Jeans after all are semi-formal nowadays, so I feel justified to get a little picky. #PantsHub
For the record, it's sooooo much easier to get decent fitting pants than a decent fitting dress shirt. I literally have to get my shirts Made to Measure if I want them to fit properly. I'll probably be getting a few pairs of M2M trousers as well here soon though, along with a couple of blazers and what not.
You people are stuck in the past lol good fitting slim jeans are literally the best looking thing you can wear. Not a show off post btw, this is literally the only picture I have in jeans (over a year ago) and I'm not even with this girl. It's just a good pair of pants lol
Honestly I'm a shorts guy, but when I wear pants it's typically straight leg, with a hole in them. You know, to make me look tough.
I mean...I guess I can't totally disagree with you. I just find it near impossible to find jeans that actually fit good. They always end up either looking bad, or making me extremely uncomfortable.
Lol nice pants discussion. Well those slim jeans look pretty good but I can't wear that ****. My bodytype asks for another type of jeans. I only wear pme and gstar and it is not slim and definetely not straight but I don't know how to call it. It fits, feels comfortable and even though I don't care about fashion I don't look silly so that's good enough for me. Not the cheapest but good fabric is very important and they last long. Btw am I actually typing all of this? I also bought some flowers yesterday so I better do something manly today...
This is the official Mens wear thread now. Here's a good example: I dont think that the shoes in the right one fits well with the overall hang flow from the skinny jeans. The polo shirt combined alongside with the center slim jeans is also something to consider, since it can provide a sense of confidence and self knowledge. It ain't ralph though...
I also saw some goats yesterday. Well a few too many. It was 'Bockbeerday' in the Netherlands. A bock is a male goat and a type of beer. The bockbeerseason starts of with big festivals and almost every brewery serve their own bockbeer. A 100.000 people enjoying music, food and lots of beer ofcourse. Silly picture. I'm that middle aged bald guy btw.
Meeting Chewbacca at comic con. I practiced my Wookie talk the whole car ride there and when I met him I froze like Wampa dung @Ascend Hyperion happy now?
