Maybe BF 2142 sequal. Wasnt a fan of BF1, seemed like dice simplified it and lowered the skill gap to appease newcomers. Won't be buying it.
yep thats how a felt too but something about the game still holds the spirit of the crazy mayhem that can only happen in battlefield even if it was a bit dumbed down. also i dont think that was the greatest map to beta the game with, so many open spaces and snipers could easily dominate. bf4 is still GOAT
with the work that Dice LA has been doing to the game post launch, the game is very solid. I had a ton of fun playing that game. I logged over 200 hours, it was great. I stand corrected!
It's like the sad, shitty bar we go to after a hard days work of forging to ***** about work and try to forget about how much the boss sucks.
Hmmm, lets look at my list: Most complete to least. Corvettes- 4v4v4v4 ship warfare Lunar Warzone- the better version of WZ in Customs, map scaled for 8v8, Catacombs- Arena Style infection map Invasion- Thanks to whoever inspired me above. Concept stage.

Last night while going to sleep, I came up with what my next forge project will be. In dedication to another one of my favorite C.E. maps, I came up with the idea to make a symmetrical version of Rat Race. Hopefully this one actually turns up symmetrical since my last project did not... I plan on calling it Facility-RR. I was not able to find any Rat Race remakes on the content browser or on Forge Hub so this will also allow me to pretty easily, hopefully make a decent remake as well. The idea is to basically mirror the map along the x axis. (X-axis being the long, lowest part of the map down under where OS spawns) (gray area pictured below) Each base would be a high point, with ramps leading down to the gray, neutral portion of the map. The second floor tunnel that usually connects to overshield would now be connected from both bases. Here is a really simple layout showing the concept. Note: It doesn't show the tunnel to OS. edit: I guess this is really mirrored upon the x=y axis.
Here's a good remake - http://www.forgehub.com/maps/rat-trap-classic.1381/ At first glance, I actually thought I was looking at a modified version of Longest. I'm not sure how I feel about a symmetrical Rat Race since I feel like its asymmetry is what makes it work, but I'm definitely interested to see what you do with it.
i wish i had the balls to stick to the first layout i make for a map. i **** out different art themes left and right but never like the layouts. i'd give chronmeister a run for his money
I was working on another golf course for more variety. It's without a doubt the biggest terrain map ever made in Halo with 313% physics. Unfortunately I had to delete a lot of stuff and had to turn the light bake off on many objects, otherwise the game would always crash because of the massive landscape. So yeah, not my fulfilled vision of the map, however it still turned out pretty well. Generating lighting in Forge takes up to two minutes... Teaser
I would be careful dude, when you get your physics past 100% things break..... a lot. It only becomes apparent when people join, its still a nice golf course though.Given its a golf course you may not have issues except for people joining in mid game, it may not seem like it has issues. It is probably ok for a game like this but seriously be careful and try to not do it for other games, its too risky. What may not crash and seem fine one game will be a nightmare the next. JIP often crashes the game Teleporters break Lighting glitches People get kicked mid game Frame stutters for everyone Gametypes break (Infection actually turns into FFA the first round with over budget physics) FX dont show up. Terrain despawns
