not sure how high end, but im pretty sure it was for gaming it was this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-2-...ive-aluminum-black/4415300.p?id=1219744553462 but i guess best buy doesn't sell it anymore. im not knowledgable in the way of computer/specs lingo but yeah, its got an i7 processor and an nvidia geforce 940m, any more than that im sure could be found with some internet digging haha if you find it let me know B)
@Mynx Yep it works Made some changes, alt-tabbed, killed the program, loaded it back up and BAM that's what it showed me.
So my laptop I bought solely for music production has the following specs: Screen Size: 15.6" Full HD 16:9 Wide screen (1920x1080) Processor: i7-6700HQ 2.6 GHz Memory: 16GB DDR3-1600 (2 x 8GB) Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M Drive : OS/Audio SSD/HHD: 240GB SATA3 SSD Drive Two: M.2 Or PCIe: 512GB Samsung 950Pro PCIe NVMe Optical Drive: 8X Max DVD±R/RW Writer/Reader / 4X Max. +DL Super-Multi Drive Operating System: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (which will be upgraded to Windows 10 now that protools supports it.) Think that's good enough for Forge PC?
So I'll need to check my direct X version but other than that I seem to meet the minimum at least. I picked everything out when I ordered that thing but opted out on the higher end graphics card because I was only going to use it to make music. Nothing else.
My next two maps are going to blow minds. They're two fundamentally different designs, but they focus very heavily on local lighting, atmosphere, perspective distortion and scale. With Spellbound, I nailed a theme and atmosphere, but I didn't really get to play around with lighting or skyboxes. Furthermore, it was pretty straight forward gameplay in a cavern, which I do enjoy a lot, but I want to mix it up with more interesting dynamics and elaborate set pieces. Both are 2v2 maps for now, although I can be persuaded to tailor one of them to 4v4. I listed out all of the maps I wanted to make in this game beforehand and I've been referencing that list for all of my projects. As new ideas are added to it, I look back and consolidate similar ones. One of the maps I'm replacing right now used to be a 4v4 map, and it was a great idea, but I'd rather not make two maps with similar themes even if the palette is swapped.
