Working on a steampunk themed map currently! If it works well I'll move to an infection map with a steampunk-horror theme!
incoming remake vomit lockout: i was forging this with h2c on a tv right next to me but im getting lazy about moving that tv back and forth so lets see if this ever pans out. im sure there are plenty of nice lockouts (though i havent seen one that really convinced me not to make one myself) zealot: my baby countdown: i've had this pretty much done for a while now, but honestly I hate how plain it looks, and with generated lighting it's incredibly dark. the last i touched it was before the 1600 object update so i could add more details, but the lightmap is screwing me honestly, so i need flat simple primitives so i can replace these lightmap sucking walls! and also add texture to them or something... guardian: basically an aesthetic map bc elbow sucks eggs (has super bad frames) narrows: started this last night, im hoping i can make the skybox similar to that of h3 (though it'll be a dreary day instead of a sunny one). fearful of lightmap for this as well since we don't have flat simple prims, but we'll see.
Thanks, sadly it's got an unplayable amount of fps drops and it's not even finished yet, so if I ever do complete it it'll have much less detail B(
I hate the people who save the map as a new file every time and name it "ttkjb3".. I never know what I'm gonna be looking at and I spend a bunch of time looking at the same map repeatedly. Looking at you @SaltyKoala @Mynx
Oh I do the same thing. Sometimes I wish there was a way to publish revisions so you don't have to type out that ridiculously long name everytime you want to load up, save a new build for the incase type of situations. Versioning is the root to all of this.

Awesome. Curious at how you did the circular ramp to snipe tower. A lot of remakes mess that part up. Could you post a picture of that so I could see how you did it? Or post your GT so I can check it out. Most circular ramps I've came across just haven't looked too good.
It's not the best but it's something. My tag is Mynx. I used a ring piece and angled it like a ramp, then had a triangle angle down to meet it.
I really wish we could opt out of maps being visible in the fileshare. You tell someone to check out your map and there are around 10 of them at the top of your list.
You could create another GT as your "Forger account" and keep it all private then when you want to upload a map to the public save it on your main GT
I've been saying that all along. I wish there was a direct way that we could 'publish' our maps from the console and even update a version that's already published by replacing it with an published update. Now that would be sweet.
