For now I'm just trying to garner interest and see who would be interested in participating in the first place, but I'm thinking of trying to hold a racing league on Halo 5. All skill levels are welcome, you don't have to necessarily be a complete pro at racing to participate, I just ask that you have fun while doing it . I'm still working out some details about it, what tracks to use, whether I want to do both mongoose and rally hog races, if I want to incorporate time trail events or something similar for coaster tracks that are hard to race on...*whew*. Yeah, I have a few ideas, trying to make it fun, different than usual racing leagues tend to be. If you're interested in partaking let me know on here or by messaging me on XBL. I just ask if you are considering joining I'm going to encourage clean racing between people so we don't have just crashes and chaos all over the place. I want to try and have something organized in some way, but still try to have fun in the process...not to mention just outright wrecking people isn't exactly fun for them either, so. But for those wanting to participate in a legitimate racing league (as legitimate as I can make it anyway), I'm thinking of starting one up soon.
There isn't really an official gametype for it, races are basically set to free-for-all slayer with deathless turned on and whatever other options with motion sensor and time limit the host chooses. Until 343 comes out with an actual race gametype everything basically has to be run by honor rules honestly.
I'd be interested Opixonic. If you need support I'd be happy to share the idea on our site as well. Shame there isn't an official Race gametype out yet but I love the Rally Hog. There are already some nice race maps out there.
