I've asked a question like this before for my Star war themed Ship to Ship map, but does anyone know how to create shields or a barrier where only vehicles can pass through but not humans? Previously I used shield barriers and teleporters but thats clunky, and i recently watched a Forgelabs video where wasps passed through a shield door. This is for an infection map and invisible blockers tend to not function properly in infection games.
I was hoping so but I know for a fact team invisible blockers don't work correctly for infection. For example zombies are spawn through Spawn Point Initial: Attacker and respawn on Respawn Point: Attacker, but they cannot pass through an invisible team blocker: attacker, however when you play slayer blue team are team:attackers and can walk through team invisible blocker: attacker no problem. I figured out how to fix my problem but it would be nice to be able to use invisible blockers correctly.
Well invisible blockers will work, they will just block players from every team, infected and survivors. This isn't a big deal if this is what you intend to do like block off an area however, if you want to use something like team invisible blockers for say just infected to pass through it will not work, it will just block every team. For example say you set a team invisible wall blocker to : Attackers and include the game mode label "Slayer include" , only attackers (Blue Team) can pass through the blocker during slayer gametypes and no one else as intended... But if you want to do this for infection it will not work. Infection spawn under "Attackers" right, well say you set a team invisible blocker to attackers and include the game mode label "Infection Include" the invisible blocker will not allow infected to pass through, its basically just a regular invisible blocker. I needed an area where vehicles could go through and not infantry, so I just used a kill instant volume and timed volume thats low enough to the ground that it doesnt kill players in vehicles but will kill players running.
