WeedCough updated Freakshow with a new update entry: FREAKSHOW UPDATE 4 - June 27th Read the rest of this update entry...
Very good update. The map just keeps getting better. I'm glad you decreased the amount of cargo containers. Less clutter and **** in the way. P.S. Why does the map still have "BETA" in the file name. I think it's way past that stage with the amount of updates done to it.
Thank you sir! And it has BETA until the layout is finalized. Next update will be the one that be out of BETA, and titled simply Freakshow.

No more cargo crates. Hallelujah! Good update. Enjoyed reading through that. You're one of the few people on the site that put effort into each update post instead of saying "added aesthetics" Btw, the Ice Cream truck looks real sweaty.
Yeah same Hop on to one of my parties or games and let's fix the funhouse lol --- Double Post Merged, Jul 8, 2016 --- Thanks man. I like talking and rambling about things so this site is great
The next update will be the final one still will continue to make small tweaks because I believe a map can never really be "done", but next update it will be out of beta.
Yeah it's come along way. Glad to be done for the most part. The increased budget really gave me the inspiration to finish and do the aesthetics the exact way I pictured it. Plus I finally fixed the funhouse's layout Really excited to post the map update tomorrow! If you wanna see the map before I post the update it's in my bookmarks as Freakshow (FINAL).
Walked around the map earlier with a friend and I found some minor issues. Didn't actually play it with a proper lobby so I don't have any feedback for gameplay. - Framerate problems. There are plenty of pieces you could remove. You could tone it down with the foliage/grass and lessen the steel bars (the ones made with cable caps) in some areas. - I hate how the slide and the swing look. The slide looks so weird with the oversized "ladder". My friend did a rough sketch of what could be a better design. Swing could also look sleeker like so. Just some suggestions. - Movement on the rocks near the school bus is very clunky and annoying. - Why are the stacked cans in the castle fixed? Like...bruh. Should be on normal. Also no need for an invisible blocker there. It just ruins the immersion and anyone who decides to hold out in the booth anyway has a death wish. - Some small crevices and nooks that could be covered up or made to looks less awkward. I don't know how to describe the specific areas but I could show you in Forge sometime if you want.
Ugh framerate. i knew about that, but didn't know how bad it was. All the new visuals might be causing it. I'm mad, but I guess I'll have to clean some things up. I noticed it seemed to be the worst on the path way looking over the clown face and ice cream truck. If you have any suggestions for certain pieces other than the cables already mentioned, tell me, just I hate the framerate issues. And I will change the slide and swings today. Honestly, I know they look clunky, but having worked on this map for hours upon hours, I guess I forgot how clunky they really were lol. The cans are on fixed because the game stand is rigged! How's that for immersion No, but seriously, I'll try to get it working today. Thanks for all the feedback man. You've been a supporter of the map since day one, thank you brother
As far as the frames go, it seems a lot of maps that played smooth were hit with the frame bat after this update. I hope they realize this (which I assume they do) and they get a workaround or patch out soon. (Dear God they need to fix Tidal).
Oh god, I'd be so happy if it was just something that they're fixing, because the map used to run pretty damn smooth. I'll still try to fix it as much as I can.
Yeah with however they "optimized" for additional piece count, I think we should all get used to finding ways to fix frame issues ourselves. Unless for some reason the new version of the xbox is truly a step up and can handle this better, or the big forge update (unofficial) that I assume will come with the launch of forge on Windows 10.
