Hey just played this the other day, and here are some likes and dislikes Pros: Cool use of multiple levels, Similar feel to fan-favorite map Sandtrap, like the combat in the ditch in the middle of the map, it allows for some crazy ground pound opportunities. Cons: Seems like there is a lack of adequate weapons on map, the basement area of the map containing the Incineration Cannon spawn seems too disjointed from the rest of the map. You could add more entryways into the basement area both in and out. Additionally the map could use a bit more detail as well, some of the structures looked plain.
Thanks for the feedback man! It's good to hear from people. I agree some spots feel bland. I've got about 45 items left in the pocket so I was saving them in case a major change had to be made. (Like altering flow into the Incineration Canon room) I too agree the map lacks extra weapons to pick up. After gathering some feedback I will be sure to address these issues in Ver 1.4. Thanks again for letting me know! I appreciate it.
Ended up playing on this in a lobby the other day - some feedback for you: Great use of the whole Forerunner "Sandtrap" aesthetic, nice and clean. The spaces seem well thought out and there's a good use of different elevations. It seems a little large to me for 4 v 4 - a lot of time running around to get to an engagement, or being pinged with a BR - I note that when we played on it, we had BR's on spawn, so it felt more BTB than not. With that said, if it should be a BTB map, more vehicles would be nice to see. I believe there was an incineration cannon that was not on a weapon pad? If it isn't, it should be.
