    This (with a bit of tweaking) could make an awesome Husky Raid map.

    It's only a suggestion and I know it's complicated because of the script's problem but...

    Why did you force us to stay on this part of the ring ?

    I think it could be interesting if you put an invisible object to the center of the ring, group it with ALL the ring, and make it turn on itself to make the ring turn too.

    We could play on different kind of place (with grass, snow etc.) and you could put the flag in the air, in 2 ships, a Covenant one and the Pillar of Autumn.

    It could also force the player to adapt his movements because of the cliffs and mountains.

    The only problem with this is that the unused vehicles will fall in the space...

    Nice job, anyway !

    That was my original idea for the map, and I tried exactly that. When I scripted it I got it to rotate, but after a couple seconds the ring started to break apart. Rotation scripting is just so broken in this game, and with this many pieces moving at once I kind of expected it to happen.

    Anyway, glad you like the map :)

    The way to fix that bug is to not put little value in rotation. Put the highest value and something like 1 minute, then repeat after 0.1 s. It should fixed that bug or delay the moment where the ring breaks apart.

    I'm pretty sure I tried that too, but I couldn't make it work now anyway. Back when I tried to script it I simplified the ring so that there were enough scripts per piece to rotate. Since then, I've added additional detail to the map, and have also made it more smooth to walk around. I may go back and try to make another version that can rotate, but this one is gonna have to stay as is.

    Damnnn this is really similar to a map I was working on! It's smaller than yours, but I gave up on it after I couldn't get it functioning properly. I made the ring, added a lot of natural pieces to it, and I even created little bases.

    I tried to get mine to rotate too, and it did, but the only way to make it work of course is to have the entire ring be one group, and unfortunately xboxes can't handle a group with several hundred pieces rotating all at once.

    I don't get why you used so many smaller blockers. A quick cleanup increased your budget by 10. Secondly instead of using gravity volumes why not a game type with reduced jump speed and increased jump height? I didn't find them beneficial.

    I'm not sure what small blocks you are talking about. And I still have like 40 objects left so if I need to add anything I can lol.

    As for the gametype/gravity volumes: I wanted players to be able to use regular gametypes instead of custom gametypes. That way players don't have to download 3+ gametypes for one map, they can just use the built in gametypes. The map is meant to be a core-action sack style map. I put in gravity volumes but they are high enough to where you hit them at high points, but not when you are on the ground all the time. I think it plays better than having a custom jump height.

    I thought about making a version of this map for a while but it lloks like you beat me to it. Looks Great!
