In the last few days I've been working to elevate my Lucio game by getting good at wall rides. Being on the Xbox One and stuck with a controller it is substantially harder to play him than with a mouse and keyboard. I can pull off a few good tricks, keep myself up on Lijang Tower forever, and piss off everyone remotely close to a wall but I am no where near the level I've seen some PC players at with him. Mercy's movement is definitely easier to handle, but I've been on crap teams with no one to leap to so I prefer Lucio's ability to preform solo. This game is great, I can solo queue without getting as frustrated as I did with Halo but I definitely prefer rolling into a match with homies.
Xbone? If so add me. I have a buddy who usually plays lucio or mercy and another who plays reinhardt and mercy. I do this. http://xboxclips.com/purely fat/12f2fed6-5c81-437d-a00c-73cb499dbd13/embed
Love Bastion. His turret is like a super. I like looking at Tracer and Mei way too much. Anyone play it on PS4?
@purely fat Hehehe. Yeah, being on the other end of that **** sucks, especially when Reinhardt is there guarding.
as a junkrat main honestly bastians aren't that bad, when i found out where they are they can't hit me but i can demolish them, same with phara, easy targets when they're stationary. they're still soo god damn cheap though, just sit there and hold the trigger getting play of the game, curse anyone who mains him. i'm playing on pc btw.
Totally agree, Junkrat is one of my go to's when it comes to dealing with turrets. His dps is insane. My thing more so with Bastion is he is just not a very interesting character to play and can be annoying.
I like finding the perfect time and place to set up. That is the only reason I find him somewhat interesting to play. The reason I go to him so often is obvious. He shreds. His turret can clean up choke points in seconds. Don't be mad cuz I picked the best guy.
not even that. just set up around a corner not far from there spawn and shoot them all in the back as they pass, free easy tripples+ and play of the game. my biggest annoyance with bastion is how simple he is to play, how easy he is and how much reward he can provide with very little effort. he's easy to deal with if you know what you're doing though.
Bastion's just a noob stomper, dealing with them has gotten far easier the more hours you get into the game. Heard a lot of people complain about Mei and I feel the same way. Really clear ways to play around them. The more familiar I get with all the characters the more I'm impressed by the balance. Agree with the McCree nerf as the flash-fan combo slaughters tanks when it really shouldn't. Sort of tempted to ask for an extra 25 health on Zenyatta just to make me happy, the bot is super rewarding to play and has much higher damage potential than the other supports with good aim but he's just so ****ing squish and slow that's it's much more worthwhile going for the mobile and reliable healers in Mercy/Lucio.
Zenyatta is more of an offensive support character in the same way that Symmetra is a defensive support. As his debuff and super are both game changing if you are playing as a team that already has a healer and high dps. Instead of giving him health bump I would rather see maybe a little speed buff. Just to make him a little harder to hit. Because like with a lot of the characters in this game the right comp. and map makes him devastating. I think the thing is as Zenyatta you just need to always be in the back line and not worry about healing to much. A good Mei is terrifying but any decent team usually has mcree, junkrat, pharah or reaper. **** I even have an easy time dealing with her as Torbjorn(No not turrets. His gun that does just as much damage as mcrees but has no damage drop off at range). I think Mcree should have his roll recharge faster and his flash bang be recharge slower. I really don't see why people have a hard time dealing with him. I had an argument about him with someone I work with. I didn't believe he was OP because I never get killed by him. I decided to play him and realized what he was talking about after that. lol I think why some people have such issues with turrets is partially the map design and everyone not wanting to play something with more than 200 hp or they don't know how to use pharah properly. Bastion is boring. Sick of seeing Tracer on defense. It doesn't even make sense. Another point about Zenyatta. He gets focused really hard whenever he is being played.
