Is there a way to make maps darker and/or remove the lighting from the world? Using the Gloom filter makes the map too contrasted and desaturated. I've tried black fog, but it's not very effective. Any tips?

Build in the crack on glacier. Turn light baking off on objects. Use terrain ramps to block light source. Turn time of day to night and it should be dark as ****.

I tried to do that, but the result was this. [IMG]
The scenery was pitch black but the spartans were unaffected by the lighting.

Yeah, that is kind of not fixable. Your best bet is to do that in combination with gloom. As someone who has messed with this a bit there is not much you can do. I am not sure if there is actually something you can do about this.
