and that's fine, you can like/dislike whatever you want, I don't care, but to say that people don't watch superhero movies for the characters is absurd --- Double Post Merged, May 20, 2016 --- lol, It's kill Bill I had never seen lotr, and multi has never seen kill bill. We'll probably be watching both parts one after the other
Given the recent output of super hero films I would disagree, but I'm sure someone will spin the narrative somehow to make me look bad and I'd find that discussion even more dull, so I digress.
Greatest movie of all time? Inception. I love that movie & my wife hates it. Why? Because she can't go 20 minutes without looking at Facebook or something so she turns away for 10 minutes then she's lost when she focuses back on the movie. I could do a party watching inception for sure.
I have to question anyone's taste in movies if they find superhero films anything more than mediocre. It is recycled plot over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Why watch a movie that you can predict the exact ending within the first 10 minutes? Superhero movies are ****.
I would normally agree that superhero movies are generally boring, which is why I liked Civil war. You couldn't have guessed the ending without seeing it.
Dude, it's an epic movie. You have to pay attention though or you will be so lost at the end. Definitely my favorite movie of all time.
If that's the case I may give it a go. I typical dislike superhero movies though. The exception being the dark knight and that's solely for Heath Ledger's outstanding performance.
Well, Goat, if your past opinions didn't leave me the impression that you are in fact mentally retarded, this just did. Kill yourself. --- Double Post Merged, May 21, 2016 --- My current list of favorite Marvel (Disney Marvel, so it excludes Fox and Sony Marvel films) at the moment. Captain America: Civil War Captain America: Winter Soldier Guardians of the Galaxy Avengers Iron Man Ant-Man I wish I could rank Ant-Man higher, but god damn, those other movies are better in so many ways and more monumental accomplishments.
Actually not the biggest fan of the first Avengers film, my list is almost the same but Avengers after Iron Man and Ant-Man.
Why isn't Shawshank on the poll. Welp. To each his own. I absolutely loved Civil War, best marvel movie to date imo.
@A 3 Legged Goat http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/captain_america_civil_war/ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3498820/ Excuse me, I just had to do this.
The last three was a hard call... I wanted to put Avengers lower, but what it accomplished was so monumental that I gotta love it despite it being typical over rated Joss Whedon.
Oh God I love inception, so good man. The acting, the music, the camera work, but of course the writing. Every time I watch the movie I understand something new lol. Anyone like The Book of Eli?
