I was about to entertain your post, but it takes two seconds to check IPs and I figured i'd have fun at your expense. If I was out of line, then I apologize, but I think you were being incredibly arrogant with your previous statement. I don't have a horse in this map drama race and I don't think anything ill of you personally. I just wish you'd have handled this whole fiasco a bit more maturely.
Mature- the idea or belief in which one can claim themselves to be by acting calmly and/or in a civilized manner in all forms of actions and situations. Many claim to be it, yet closed experiments have proven it to be otherwise.

I feel that Schnitzel is getting at something deeper and his thesis "There is no such thing as a 'competitive' or 'casual' map, there’s only a 'balanced' map. A map is either balanced or it’s not." isn't specifying that. We may still need silly words like casual and competitive for forgers to describe their map conceptually. However, we must not use these words as an excuse to defend flaws in our maps. And let's admit this: every single map can always get better. I believe the key for making a "balanced" map is to ask the forger one question, How do you want this map to function? From this answer and no matter the function, the person(s) giving feedback can now improve the map. There are virtually limitless possibilities for map-gametype combinations in forge. Let's use our experience and knowledge to improve a map in a way that best suits the forger's intentions, not argue about what words to use to describe it.
