Yeah I guess that is a little confusing, I put four each so that it wouldn't be weird if people did decide to play 4v4s. Very surprised the spawning wasn't broken, did it still play alright? I'll take a look back at the stream later tonight.
I think layout was mostly good and with some slight modification you could make it play well for 4s. Most people agreed it felt like a 2v2 (which is a derp on my part). However spawning somehow managed to stay solid, which seemed to be okay to me and I didn't suspect it to be a 2v2 while on the other hand could play a dirty 2v2. I think my main feedback was how the trees had created awkward engagements and gave a bit of a random feeling when fighting with people cross map. layout felt great for 2v2, had no arguements with flow as it flowed well. Under the catwalk felt a bit awkward for pathing, which I though could be more simplified to better incorporate movement in that area. Overall the map felt great just a little under-scaled for 4v4 (well duh rick you decided to run 4v4 and a 2v2 map, goddamn I am a moron). I apologize for the mix up broski

I'd like to resubmit Cadence for testing. I took a lot of the feedback given during the lobby the other night and did my best to address most of the concerns. Changelog: Redesigned the area behind the lift. Now resembles Damnation more. Added an Overshield to that area over the new death pit. Made a fancy skybox to orient players in that area of the map. Spoiler Pulled in the wall in Red Base to make it more compact. Made it out of rocks with a tree to help with orientation. Spoiler Streamlined the room to the left of Red Base. Spoiler Pulled Blue Base forward and created a ramp to Blue Tower instead of a jump-up. Spoiler Eliminated the unnecessary elbow at the teleporter receiver. Spoiler Redesigned what is now Tree House to be made more of natural pieces. Pulled in the wall in Blue Alley. Moved Stronghold locations, as seen in the pictures. The new locations are Red Base, Courtyard, and Tree House. Strongholds starting spawns have been accomodated to these locations. Spoiler Completely outfitted the map with named location volumes to help with calling out Changed the color of most of the map so that walls are much more distinctive from floors, and overall orientation should be much better. Got rid of all but one of the curved staircases in favor of smoother geometry. Slight tinkering with lighting to help with player orientation. Serenity is ready for more testing made changes to blueyard, the area between red spawn and sniper and made visual changes to the teleporters ill have a full edit to the map later today with pictures to show what changes have been made.

I wish I'd know Condemned would be played this week, so I could have cleaned up a few things. There was a whole wall I forgot to turn off light bake on. And I don't think the strongholds were sized how I wanted them to be. I just moved them to a different location from what they were to visualize travel times and sightlines. Haven't watched that round yet. Edit: After watching that strongholds round, I'll agree that blue is in a pretty bad spot, but I'm not sure it's a bad thing that there's a bit of travel time between them all. The map was designed with the idea of constant movement in mind, so the travel helps fulfill that.
