Hey, Ive been working on a 4v4 symmetrical map with heavy beaver creek influence. I haven't really figured out the spawning system in halo 5 so does anyone know of a comprehensive guide of how to set up spawning for all the different gametypes? Thanks alot and happy forging!

Thanks also from me, Jack. I haven't had to learn that info you linked to yet. Still don't know much about the player spawn system other than using both initial and respawn objects then setting the team.

I think the Gameplay section of the Spawn Objects menu has all the player spawn and objective objects. For the objective objects we use the Team setting and also the Game Mode Labels settings.

They gave us four slots for the Game Mode Labels and those let us specify which game types the object will appear in.
    • Use the include options to select which games the objects will spawn in
    • You can also choose game types that are excluded so the object never spawns in those games
    • The are a few settings like flag: spawn, flag: return, ball: spawn/return, strongholds: base that specify the object to provide those critical functions
I think the basic forge maps have all those objects already set for us, but it's good to know how they work.

And then there's all the Game Settings for custom games to play with. It'd be nice to get that documented, but I think it's similar enough to previous Halos and not too hard to dig thru, wouldn't you say?
