So again I'm working on something new. A remake of a map I made from halo reach. It's still got a lot left to do to sort it out and I want to get a good game type working with this, with fatalities. I bring you a peek of... MORTAL KOMBAT Updated with new pics of progress. I have made some progress, added goro's layer, the haunted forest, the portal level (still in progress) under the pit level has spikes and sound effects fitting for the map. I have also made a custom game type, finishers have been slowed right down and feels like a FATALITY Also added the loading battle ladder but having some spawning issues so have had to add spawns in map. All off limits zoned off, I have an opening cinematic scene and cameras working well but need a little tweeking. All in all this is feeling ready for some vigorous testing
Gonna have to disagree. Your map is much more confusing visually than twice forsaken. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome, but twice foresaken has nowhere near the visual noise that your map does.
I haven't ran around on the map but I don't share the opinion of the majority regarding the visuals on no god anywhere's map. It doesn't look very confusing to me and I like how it really looks like the crane tipped over and crushed the walkway.
Going to have to agree. You've capture a specific atmosphere, no god but is does look way noisy and looks like a real pain for nade use.
Soft clips and full clips would be great. And i do feel the same way as them that it is pretty visually noisy. I don't think you need to change it, it's your map and I respect that. But prepare because people will complain. On the other side, there will be people that like it too, I'm sure.
In regards to NGA map, it does appear very visually nosiy but has anyone actually walker around on the map? Static screenshots often give skewed impressions on how a map feels and looks in game vs the screenshots. What's the file name NGA? I'd love to have a look at the wip in game
i think you should take everyone's comments into consideration. With that said I love seeing people do out of the box things like this. Keep at it man.
For a split second, I contemplated your voice coming from that woman. For the very short duration that the inner workings of my brain proceeded to function, inside my mind's eye was the face of that picture. That face was telling me how much it enjoyed creating a car lot inside a game we all play, even though at first you had trouble with the lighting bug in the last update.
