Yes they are doing great things, it is nice to have such a great network of dedicated skilled testers. I was curious because I kept hearing the word pro thrown around. I am not as knowledged the current Halo pros as I was in H3 so I wanted to ask. Just curious, thank you for the information while making 2v2 maps for the competition me, demp and someone else adjust the stronghold settings in order to make it run better in doubles.
Working on asym remix of Coliseum. I never liked how Coliseum slayer played at higher levels. It's always a rush to control snipe side and then endless spawn flipping. In this remix i wanted to accomadate a more structured approach for 4v4/2v2 Slayer, and maybe StrongHolds down the line. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Explorer Oak/video/16741200 Wieght has been given to Blue Cave, and Red corner, creating a figure eight format. While Blue ramp and Red Cave is now blocked off. Blue bridge also has a line of sight breaker where player must clamber up and over.a Teleporter lies on a podium near blue ramp that takes you to original snipe spawn.
Completely redesigned the top area of my steel factory with some nice grav lift vents and made it roomy for better movement up there. I have also decided upon the name Scorch for the map and it should be ready for testing now.
I do spend 40+ hours a week doing this professionally for the company that owns USA Today, Merd. Just because I keep most of my pro bono stuff simple doesn't mean I wont make something else nice. I only pull out the big guns for portfolio/resume material or if I'm getting paid. Plus, that was about 6 minutes of work, if that, with some terribly simple photoshop work; besides that, it's not even clean (one of the bars is slightly mal-aligned), because it's a draft. I'm surprised you'd discount me so quickly after I whipped up that seal of approval (which was much more complicated) in under half an hour.
Just an art concept right now, hoping to work out a layout in the near future. It feels great in game as far as atmosphere with the rain effect along side Eden's lightning every so often.
