You know I actually saw you do that. I think you jumped on the rock and then fell into the death pit lol. That area needs some more visibility for sure. I might descale it just a bit.
Probably, I was so focused on spawning and rushing you both since I knew beam and ball was up lol. Wasnt really paying attention
THANKS 343 for ruining my hardwork. Also thanks 343 for making my life easier. yes both of thoes images are the same map
the lighting was not baked on third photo. Its a abandon castle and its dungeon below. So basically, The second photo is directly below the third photo
Im remaking the map Hangar from Republic Commando but covenant themed. Im also trying to make those pressure plate activated doors work on both sides but its not working for some reason.
The Alliance Testing Network is a QA pipeline for the forge community. It is a group of regular custom game testing lobbies. They essentially act as a filter for the end goal of the pipeline which is getting tested in the UCC Pro/Semi-Pro/Amateur Pro Testing lobby and giving some validation to maps for when they care considered for matchmaking. If two lobbies give it a greenlight as something that has the potential for matchmaking, then they get into the UCC queue. In the UCC lobby the map is played 3 times with the developers choice of gametypes and the pros spend 15 minutes giving feedback on the map. These are streamed and uploaded to youtube for later reference. The first lobby consisted of mostly CF maps and I was there the entire time. I can vouch that the feedback is crazy valuable and worth it. At the end of the feedback they give their thoughts on its potential for matchmaking. Sometimes they say definitely potential for matchmaking with some tweaks. The entire system is then visible for the content to matchmaking system (whichever is in place). So the Community Cartographers have a list of maps that have been tested at a variety of skill levels, and has gotten some validation from a high Onyx/Champion lobby of players. Current lobby participants are Paranormal, Max Extra, Duke of Mearl, AgentPaperCraft, and Demption. Merder runs the entire system and the UCC lobby. Creative Force helps where possible: facilitating feedback, helping creators with maps, directing people to the system, assisting in graphics, coordination, and every little minor detail that we can help with. http://www.forgehub.com/threads/map-testing-pipeline-alliance-testing-network.151541/ Btw, I totally got to finally test your map, and @A 3 Legged Goat 's Spellbound and Ashlands... and they felt sooo good. I'm looking forward to more tests.
I don't think they are, I believe they're just a sponsored semi-pro team. Basically just good players.
No top 16s yet, but we do have connections that will be growing from this. @Merder Smerf is expanding his resources and making connections. They are also working on a BTB pro lobby as well. Baby steps as we slowly close the gap between forgers and high level players.
Honestly after going over their stats and info, they're very mediocre players. Edit: I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, they could be a phenomenal team based on how they support each other, but from the numbers perspective nothing really stands out.
Regardless it is a start, and CF has access to another team that will be competing with them in the future who I believe is higher in skill level. And it is a higher level of testing than most forgers have access to. So we shouldn't take that for granted. As time goes on we will bring in more skills and improve our network and resources. Also it is time I actually participate in the WAYWO thread with my own work in progress! Coming soon... previewing sometime within the next week (special thanks to @Captain Punch for the media and all graphics stuff):
lol... it is inspired by the Reach AI. yes... the Reach AI is diamonds though, not triangles. And it will be a different color. It is just a proof of concept. It's a tease to get the word out there. And it will lead up to what I'm previewing this week. A full blown Map Analytics system for Halo that a couple people in the community have heard about by now. Basically imagine being able to see every game that has ever been played across the Halo community on your maps. And then analyzing weapon statistics, generating heatmaps, and browsing for trending content.
