NonstopSuperguy submitted a new map: Avenue - Welcome to Avenue, a to-scale remake of Halo: Reach's Boardwalk. Read more about this map...
Really cool. Now if you still have enough budget, you can create an environment around the map. Look at the Mirror's Edge styled map on Forgehub. To create a huge building beside the map and create the feeling we are not on a lone building but that we are surrounded by several other buildings, just take huge blocks and combine them with large breakout blocks to create windows (these blocks have cool reflections), add why not, one or 2 cranes and also a Pelican flying through the map, above the players. It could add a lot of life in the map and could give it a soul. But you need to have enough budget as I said at the beginning of my comment. Nice job.
Looks great but I don't really like the skybox. Like Black Racher said, more detail in the distance really could help bring this map to life.
The budget is the problem. I'm at 1021 with spawning and weapons. I'll jump in there today and polish it up a bit. --- Double Post Merged, Apr 11, 2016 --- I would've used the Eden skybox but the coordinates didn't line up. I had no choice but to use parallax.
Empire didn't work too ? Sure with a little polish you could gain some pieces. Also, it seems in the screen that some trees could prevent some lines of sight... And it could be really problematic. Anyway, you did a good job in the structure of the map, and the aesthetic looks cool !
I ended up deleting a bunch of bushes and grass, cleared up my budget by about 70 blocks. I'm gonna try to make it indoor, Iike an area aboard a ship or something. Open up the map and you'll see what I mean.
