Ayyyyy Hahah. I creep every few weeks since Halo 5 came out. I'm surprised at how many people are still around since Halo 3
Well I guess I'm comparing myself to forgers now a days in H4 and H5 when I said subpar haha. Halo 3 maps were much easier (Aesthetics) and more simple (Layout wise) to make so they were decent. A few were deserved but a few were definitely pushed though lol. I did make a name for myself before becoming friends with staff though so shrug. I just wanted to shed some light on the whole corruptness thing because it does exists. To what extreme is debatable though.

This is the most respectable post I've seen in years. Throughout the 8 years I've been on this forum, there have always been people who defend the ones in power. Always. Why? They were always friends. Or at least wanted to be their friend so bad they would pucker up and kiss some ass. There are a few members doing that right now in fact. They refuse to acknowledge what's happening. Even War and Fated acknowledge these things themselves... I just don't understand this community sometimes...
In defense of those people: some of them are just uninformed or unaware of the full situation while others are giving the CCs the benefit of the doubt. Before multi's video I was trying to give the CC's benefit of the doubt because I figured they were limited from 343, I was also uniformed. For example I thought the main issue was with the CC system in general, when really the main issue was individuals within the CC. Like I told multi on YouTube, he did a public service showing all of this information. I can try to defend a group but at the end of the day facts are facts. You can't deny multi's screenshots in his video. I the more people that learn about the situation and watch this video the less amount of people will support the CCs.
I've seen the corruption before. Some people think I'm here because of it but i took my stake before that period even came along. They may be partially right but really, my tournament features are the only maps that could remotely be linked to corruption. I got tired of defending myself so I steer clear of the drama. Honestly it's hard for me to believe all of this stuff about duck because I've never seen it 1st hand. He's always been cool to me without me being in his little circle or cliche. Now if it's true then yeah, he needs to go, & I agree with all the dormant CCs being booted as well. If there's so many inactive a involved give it to me, I've been around the block & ive done enough to give 2 sh*t$ about my own maps (after I get a 2v2 in MM with my fingers crossed) and I can't show favoritism because I don't run around with any crowd on this site but have experience with both sides of this party. Anyways, that's why I haven't been saying anything about this & that's my 2 cents. Actually, I'd be bad because I'm about to get all my recording gear in the mail & I will be too busy writing/recording/headbanging to make a big impact on the community. Plus kids and a wife, gotta get that booty.
Well It's not about IF it's true anymore. There are multiple screenshots on the video exemplifying ducks terrible behavior. People have chosen to pass these along in hopes that this toxic member will no longer corrupt the CC's with his presence.
A Cartographer has a big responsibility. You need: Leadership skills. To positively interact with the community and actively participate in community events and playtests. To be able to find, organize and curate community content, and provide feedback to the authors as necessary. An understanding of the gameplay and design you're brought on for. Maybe it's idealistic, but It's a pretty cut and dry job description nonetheless.
