UCC - please I would love to have you test my "final" version of 'Gilded Sanctum'. I have been making lighting, spawn, framerate, sound, and named location tweaks. I haven't been able to have many play sessions since I have "finished" the map and want to be certain before I delete my old version.
I have several maps that need a bit of testing. First and foremost, I'd like to get a test on my map 'Power Strip', which is set to be played in the UCC testing lobby next week. I'd like to get a strongholds game on it, since that's seen the least testing so far. A game of Slayer or Oddball on it would be great too if there's enough time. I would like to test a matchmaking BTB map, but with AR and Magnum starting weapons instead of BR. I want to see if this gives more incentive to seek out weapons on the map and if it promotes vehicle warfare. BR's (in my opinion) seem to ruin the BTB experience. Shortened the back base & removed intire back top off base( them dead ends.spawn volumes copied from recurve and basin.no more silly fun repawns.(all beside objects to protect u when respawn out off line off fire.none on vantage points.so youll have to now work for your place on the map.i have as many weapons as recurve/basin(slightly bit more) major base tidy up.yes still 4 small stairs to top off base but in my defecnce.i have lowered some & now man canon on back off base after the second stair to take you to top base.so stairs is not only way.so now balanced out with the diff route.lift to nest now works 99% as i have tested bout 50times.the cannon ontop off central base i have seen in past get tons off use.but is risky.the side walls made smoother &yes it will shoot ur vechical over(for fun) but may add a rock to block if suggested.but this is good for ctf as alternative root.smoother is what im trying to do.its great advice im following.its the one person thats says they injoy this map keeps it going.(big as texas)no lol)yes this map is big but when measured with a floor 256x256x4. Its very close to Basin in been 4 long & 2 wide in middle & basin is on a hill.& on the ground in basin theres more long site lines i feel.due to been 3 big killer vechicals on the map.this is why i 4 plasma pistol on each high vantage point.let me know your thought on this.recurve has the same 3 smaller vechicals but only 1 main killer vechical.base floors & stairs primary colour change and set to zero metalic.im always up for change so be blunt in comments ( plz make this clear to everyone as i hate beaten round the bush) --- Double Post Merged, Apr 8, 2016 --- I listen thru twitch on my phone.ciz off my mic issues and been afraid off wakening my house mate
