Hey guys, JoeDannyMan here! I've been working on this map for a LONG time now. I made the Sandbox template that I used for the map around the time that forge first came out in Halo 5. The map's actual evolution though has been across multiple Halo games. It started in Halo Reach when, in an attempt to fill a void in my Xbox Live community of Drive or Die maps, I painstakingly remade the middle layer of Sandbox using a modded template that had like 400 coliseum walls. From there I converted this Metalbox into a Drive or Die map titled "Metal RUINZ". Halo 3 MCC brought with it an opportunity to make a sort of remake of this map with a similar layout of structures around the desert, titled simply "RUINZ". Now, with the crazy power of Halo 5's forge, I was able to make a convincing remake of the middle layer of Sandbox and make it dark and spooky, even more so that in Halo 3. Looks like a pretty sick theme you have going on for it. I'm not familiar with the "drive or die" game, so how does that work? And do the warthogs have headlights that produce lights when driving? that would be sick
Pretty sure the drive or die gametype is the zombies one where the zombies are ridiculously fast and the only way to survive is by driving and out maneuvering them. I think. Haha
The idea behind Drive or Die is that humans start with limited weaponry on a wide open and barren map. Zombies are super fast and hard to see, so the only option is to get in a vehicle and try to outrun them. It's literally "drive or die" lol
