Those solid colored sections are going to hamper target acquisition.

Also, pretty sure they only want Maps in the Maps section unless they are W.I.P., you are saying this is finished. Even if you plan to iterate and make it better, it's in a final state, so you would just want to post it there.

Take a look at how the top-tier competitive maps use colours as accents, not bases, to show players what are they are in.

More along the lines of the forge maps that are top-tier. I'm sure you can figure it out. Colouring pieces are one thing, but building your geometry to allow for easy cognitive awareness of where you are is the next level.

Sort of. Most areas can be called such as "big lift", or " sword bridge", etc. It's super symmetrical maps that need to use the subtle colouring aspect.
For Halo 5, my lazy searching found Shurima. It uses small details in the windows, flooring, and lights to orient players.
For Halo MCC, http://www.forgehub.com/maps/epicborough-keep.294/ is a good example of how things used to be.

    Colored lines...colored lines everywhere!! :tedium:

Anyway, sorry to break up the discussion, but as Captain Punch mentioned earlier, we have a policy of 1 thread per map. This is so that any discussion about your map can be concentrated in one location.

I'm going to lock this thread. Please continue the conversation in the official map thread - http://www.forgehub.com/maps/relikt.2098/#post-1634400
