Right, but it's important in this case to have multiple scripts moving it forward in rapid succession (in this case the Pelican's "propulsion" actually uses the same channels as the floating script I mentioned above). It's scripted to travel forward 500 feet every 1.80 seconds over the course of the entire 1.80 seconds, and then on top of that a few script timers running aconcurrently to the floater messages prompt it to tilt slightly (basically an extremely slow aileron) as well as offset / make a hard left after passing the building. As of now it's impossible to have true "gapless" movements just by kajiggering scripts and messages in such a way so as to repeat the action every X seconds, but you can pull off some relatively seamless stuff by having two timers trigger immediately as the other one's duration completes. However, note that scripts affecting the same parameters (e.g. movement, rotation, color) that fire off simultaneously or closely to one another can cause the second script to "take over" before the first script finishes or have them behave in weird ways, so generally it's not possible to, say, have local movement turned off and then chain scripts to make a platform move diagonally.
this map looks so awesome. I'm really digging the aesthetic. I would love to check it out sometime. Also what piece did you use for the tiled roof? Are they just pipes?
Yes, hundreds of pipes. I thought a floor would be good enough, but since so many people want it back, I have no choice but to stop being lazy
Oh god. My soul is bleeding xandrith. Please. Just no. With that many pieces you could provide adequate living shelter to approx 371 children in arabic region. Your cruelty disgusts me.
My maps so big, I'm worried about it becoming a hotspot for organized crime. My maps so big, It needs its own playlist and dedicated servers. My maps so big, Even your sluttly ex gf wouldn't sleep with it. My maps so big, Purely thought we got a new canvas.
My map's so big. Like really big. But seriously. Big. Edit: It's actually not that big. I just wanted to fit in...
