Okay so first of all, I had no idea what section to post this in, so if it's in the wrong section, please guide me. So Basically, to avoid confusion etc I always put Spoilers in the descriptions of my map, with appropriate headings for what's in that spoiler. (I tend to always write a lot on map descriptions DX) I have never had any problems with this, if a spoiler heading came up twice, I'd just delete it and put it back and it would work again. But for some reason, when I made a map update, my description started to go... Weird? This is really awkward to explain, but basically, my map description is picking up a spoiler script that isn't there, and randomly generating new ones in the description. I've tried deleting the random scripts, they come back, even if I save it. I've tried deleting them and making them again, but as before, even when saved, it keeps reverting back, but any other altercations I make work. I guess below is the best way I can show it: Spoiler: Example So this is your normal working spoiler, obviously This is kind of what mine is doing on my map description: SPOILER END, SPOILER START, SPOILER END SPOILER START, SPOILER END <--- Random Scripting that keeps appearing, even after being deleted and saved over SPOILER START <-- The Script I put in Text text text blah blah SPOILER END<-- Random script that keeps appearing, even when deleted and saved over More Blah Blah Blah Loads of Blah Blah Blah SPOILER END <-- The script I put in So yeah, it's really weird and I have no idea what to do. This could just be a server thing but I don't know. Any advice? EDIT: The random scripts disappeared, but the random end script hasn't
This was happening to me both on here and Halo Customs when I updated my map last week. I set it up properly, then saw there were an extra 7 spoilers that were blank. I just went back and deleted the scripts that I could and dealt with the result :/
Glad I'm not the only one, it really sucks, especially when you're OCD about presentation and organizing
I FOUND A FIX!!!! :O Basically copy all of the text in the broken spoiler, then delete it. Then delete all of the random spoilers, and the original spoilers, then click 'preview'. You will notice that the bugged spoilers have gone. Now make a new spoiler, but put nothing in it. Preview it again, if it works, nothing will appear. Now Paste all the text back into the spoiler, and preview it. For me, this fixed my issue entirely. The spoiler works, and no random spoilers are popping up! I hope this works for you and anyone else watching! EDIT: Random spoilers are appearing again, however multiple spoilers under the same name aren't appearing. So this works presentation wise, but randoms to still spawn
