Hi, I've been messing around in forge since early Reach and I've wanted to get more involved in the community. I've been working on a map in Halo 5 that I think is decently aesthetically pleasing but wanting some critique on playability and flow. The map is far from finished. If anyone can help me out or offer feedback, please reply or something (completely new to this website)
i was going to put a plain with some natural formations around it (hence all the extra rocks) to make it BTB but that small section can be probably be used anywhere from 2v2 to 4v4
Welcome! The map looks quite nice in that picture. Here's a link to some helpful information: http://www.forgehub.com/threads/forge-guides-resources.148358/ There's a map posting guide in there along with general tutorials. To get feedback for your map you might first want to post a WIP (Work In Progress) thread in the "forge discussion" forum, which we are in right now. This can be a central point for feedback and informing others of updates to your map. You can just title it "WIP mapname" The map name doesn't have to be final, though if it isn't final you should probably mention that in the post. The information people need to download your map in halo 5 at the moment is: 1:your gamertag 2:your map name Here's an example of what I did: http://www.forgehub.com/threads/wip-infestation.151223/ To get feedback though you usually need to post your map in one of the testing threads. You should read their post to see if your map is submition worthy or if there is certain information they need. Sometimes you can be in the lobby when they test it and test it with them to get more feedback. Some people have twitch accounts so you can watch the gameplay of your map live or at a later time if you weren't able to be there testing it. Here's a link to one: http://www.forgehub.com/threads/max-extras-forged-friday.150974/ I'm sure people will be happy to help you if you have any more questions.
