'Party chat voice output to speakers and to broadcast' Is it just me or is this only used for the girlfriends that always wanna know whats so damn funny?
I have loud kids, so I don't usually join parties until they go to bed unfortunately. Either that or I have to mute my mic when I am not talking which is annoying because I have to unmute it when someone talks to me so if you ever invited me & I didn't join, now you know why.
Its awesome news for my customs events. Before we would have a lobby of 16 people, 12 in the party and if we were playing a custom game like Flapjack Frenzy where everyone had to be on the red team it was very cumbersome to communicate that with the other 4 people. Plus this will make the broadcast more active and full of people to respond to me talking **** lol
Secondary use case is the Twitch app and capture cards, which currently pick up only what comes through the speakers, making it very difficult to talk to your party and your stream at the same time without the use of something like Skype. GF definitely the priority though =P
Now if they would allow a real volume control on Party chat instead of this moderate to silent volume setting they have now, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm tired of turning my TV sound way down just because my friend is light spoken or has a voice like a subwoofer. If I have to keep saying "what?" 85 times per game session I'm going to make a personal visit to Xbox Headquarters. In this day and age I expect to not only control overall party chat volume but also the volume of each and every party chat member. Thank god we have mute but we should be able to do so much more.
