WIP Jericho

    Jericho is a large map that currently supports Slayer and Strongholds. I will add flag most likely. I think the sweet spot will be 6v6, but the map should support 8-16 players.

    My to do list:
    -clean up lighting glitches as much as possible
    -try to add a few more aesthetic touches ( I have over 200 pieces left, but no ideas)
    -Figure out weapon set. I currently have Binary 180s, Plasma Caster 120s 1 clip, Energy Sword 180s, Shotgun 90s no clip, 2 Halo 1 pistols, 3 Halo 2 BR's, Suppressor, Boltshot, SMG, Needler 90s, 4 Splinter, 4 Frags, 2 Plasmas. It seems obvious that I have way too many Power Weapons on the map and Im sure a couple will probably go. I think the Caster is going to be too much, but it is the only explosive weapon so we'll see. The map also has 2 Ghosts and OS.

    Take a look at the pics and help add to the list by offering any feedback you may have.

    I knew your map was reminding me of something. Then I figured it out; it reminds me of Dust_2 and Mirage from CS:GO.

    You've captured the CS feel pretty well. Looks nice so far.

    Have you done the tasks I told you to do. Like replacing objects so it would be less patchy?

    I've been working on that quite a bit. It's tough where the arches are though because I need smaller blocks to fill in the top. I think I've gotten about half of what can be cleaned up done. I'm still gonna have a few problem areas I think when it's complete, but it should be less noticeable. I also added a little more height variation like you suggested in a few spots. Im sure there are a few more spots where I could make some dips in the flooring though.

    I'm so glad that the new Forge has let us to not only start building better Halo maps but has finally given us the opportunity to build maps that look distinctly like something else. With the increase in map uploads and variety of styles It feels like the UT99 days have finally come to the console in the form of Halos Forge . Let's pray that the development of the Forge allows talented forgers like yourself to build more and more creative and or realistic maps.

    Looking good so far. Thanks for stepping outside the bounds of Halo.

    This is what I am saying. Greater variety in theme is something I am super excited about. We have already seen some cool ones. I hope there are less an less unsc themed **** as they game continues and people figure out even better stuff.

    I tried to do it and my problem was I couldn't do anything that looked good that was not already done. I have an issue with doing this because people were weird as **** about it in reach, even though we all copied nexn, and halo 4, but not really in h2a. As most people I talked to either copied me or did terrain **** that was completely different. That game was the deadest game of all though. So not many people forged in general.

    Yah, I barely Forged in MCC. Proof that a proper fileshare, (or lack there of) makes a huge impact. With the half ass lighting system they had, I lost interest fast.

    I took care of everything on my list and I think the map is close to being complete. The map now supports CTF and Assault and I have used the maximum number of objects. I'll try and get more tests in before posting the final version, but its in my Bookmarks if you want to try it out. Take a look at the changes...
